It gives rise to the habit of national integration among people of the country even after being diverse in various ways.

India is one of the few countries which lure the International and even the domestic tourists to the land of fantasy, with so much of variety which is easily not found in any country of the world. Mountain ranges, monsoon, irrigated agricultural lands, rivers, streams, forests, and deserts have all contributed to India’s exceptional diversity among people of diverse races, castes, creeds, religions, and languages. Each state and region has its distinct colour, culture, and climate. Dance and music, colourful festivals, and stunning handiworks enchant visitors from all over the world. Beaches in Goa, backwaters in Kerala, snow-capped mountains in Himachal, beaches, and lakes in Kashmir, historical attractions in Delhi, and so on are symbols of our country’s diversity.

September 27th is celebrated as World Tourism Day with a theme of Green and clean world in the year 2023. United Nation World Tourism Organisation has decided to uplift the tourism industry by bringing in more investments and uniting more private sector investors.

Thus, Tourism industry is now booming in the world. The Travel and Tourism Industry is just a huge part of our economy.Travel Unity is an organization that seeks to make the world of travel welcoming to people of all backgrounds and abilities. Each year, they hold a summit bringing travel industry professionals together to collaborate and have candid discussions about broadening DEI efforts(diversity, equity&inclusion).

The practise of multiculturalism is the key factor of tourism industry. It opens up a path for workforce which is the fundamental economical status of any town, city, state, country or be it any place in the nook and corner of the world. The tourism strategies are still improving in the developing countries while the developed countries are already enjoying the fruitful results.

It is not our differences that divide us. It is our inability to recognize, accept, and celebrate those differences. Strength lies in differences, not in similarities.A nation’s culture resides in the hearts and in the soul of its people”

A very well said sentence by Mahatma Gandhi which shows the necessity to preserve our culture and respect others culture equally. This should be the motto of any traveller visiting to tourist places across the world. A broad mind always has optimistic views that any traveller has in the first place in contrast to “An idle mind is the devil’s workshop” .

“United we stand, Divided we fall”.

Though there are many barriers for mankind, it is the human race that keeps people bonded throughout the world. Geographical barriers can be skipped by travelling in air and underwater cruise. Intercity tours are a bed of roses as they can be traversed via roads& rails that are laid down.

Transport is well developed for making tourists reach their destination easily on time.Transportation helps people move from tourist generation area to tourist destination area. This way, Indian economy and consequently World’s  economy has increased.

Just think of earlyman’s era when there is no transportation and no moving from place to place or no wandering !!

World would have been struck there itself and no civilisations would have evolved, which ultimately would have led to collapse of Earth. Since Man had an idea of moving around, we could now see transportation of goods and people as well in the form of tours and travels.
